I just want to say thank you so much for all your support over the last year and a half, it's always so exciting to share my work with you. I know I only have a few more designs since the last time I posted, but that's because I went through my entire portfolio and added BOATS. All of you were so polite not to mention how sad my ships looked without their boats, but I know you must have noticed. I know I did, it bothered me. I knew it would be a great undertaking, but I did it for them and for you all.

Feast your eyes on their beauty. 167 WWII ship and aircraft classes plus variants. 8 post war. 1 ahistorical.

I also upgraded my printer, and boy was it a struggle at first, but the results are better now that the kinks are smoothed out. It was user error after all. I'm now using a Prusa i3 MK3s, slicing with S3D, designing in Blender.

Where and how much?

I have a website that's probably a good place to start. Shapeways has a quality and corporate guarantee advantage but is the most pricy. My licensees are still getting their inventory rolled out. I take direct commissions from US customers and that information is on the website as well.

My prices range from $2-15 USD at 1/1800 scale. Shapeways has a floor of $7, but I cram multiple ships into one model so the per unit cost can be smaller.

I'm somewhat glad I've taken a break in printing these for a while. There are a few I need to replace, and not just because of user error on my part (my first Japanese carriers were sliced very poorly).

I'll likely spend the weekend going through what I have and determining what I need to reprint. Unfortunately I have found Blender rather difficult to get used to and would like a better modeling software, I am still keen on adding a few variants, starting with the 5,500 ton Japanese cruisers.

Hey beachedwhale, always good to hear from you. I'm love to see what you're trying to do with variants, don't forget to send pictures my way if you feel so inclined. Thanks for all your support!

Oooo what are these for?

Wargaming, or display. There's a museum in the Philippines that has the order of battle of Leyte Gulf on display. I originally meant to use them for the Axis and Allies Naval Miniatures game but I can't find time or people to play with so I just do it for the love of it.

Next time throw a quarter down for us people with no natural sense of scale.

You're right, I apologise. I definitely forgot to do that.

My god, are you trying to model the Battle of Leyte Gulf, in 1:720 scale ?

2
GhukekOP•

More than you know. (Actually 1/1800 scale.)

Arnt these just Axis and Allies ships that have not been painted? They literally look identical.

2
GhukekOP•

Thank you, I appreciate the compliment. I did make them and design them, but that you think they look similar enough to pass as the Axis and Allies minis is an honor.

Did you take inspiration for the planes? They have the same base
