I've had it for two weeks now, which means one weekend building, and one regular and one extended weekend calibrating. I have a couple successful prints, and I have no idea how I got them because I'm mostly getting stringing or clogging.

Layer height is .1, non-negotiable. I was running .08 on my $360 Chinese knockoff for the last year without a problem. I need the fine detail for my application.

I'm using S3D. Prusament PLA. I've tried retraction distances from the default 0.8 all the way up to 8. Retraction speeds from 1500 to 3000 mm/m. Coasting on, or off. Wiping on or off with values adjusted. I checked and unchecked a couple oozing settings in the advanced tab. Temperature from 185-2

Hi all, I just got my Prusa last weekend. Unfortunately my second print clogged the hotend enough that I had to take it apart to fix. In doing so, I inadvertently rubbed off all the thermal paste from between the heatsink and the metal pipe. Queue a full day of messing with profiles to try to get it to print properly. The issue only arose when I would reach the part of my prints that have lots of retractions per layer. Usually it would clog right up, sometimes it would make it through for a bit but with under-extrusion. It would reliably clog though.

I finally realized what the problem might be and got a hold of some thermal paste. First print was extra stringy and subsequent prints are a t
