That place stayed clear for ages after fighting the BT. Personally found the Musician annoying to access. Not met the Mountaineer yet, just met Authors Son.

I don't think I met the musician or author's son? Did you unlock them by doing a certain delivery or do you unlock their bunkers by finding them?

Found parcels named for them, once picked up they'll show as a location. Or stumble upon them.

I set up a huge network of ziplines in that mountain takes 2 min to get to the mountaineer. But the first time was hell.

Make yourself a >!zip line trail!<, that makes getting through the mountains so much easier
This is next on my agenda after seeing a few different vids of that. I actually went through the trouble of constructing safehouses at both Mountaineer and Roboticist (actually drove a truck up the mountains to get the materials through BT territory, lol), that should at least ease the burden until I can get that set up.
