Ships with hangars question

Not sure if this has been answered or not, but for ships with retractable hangars, like the Carrack or the 890, will the player be able to open/close those hangars remotely (from the Pisces for example) or is some poor sap going to have to stay onboard to operate the hangar doors while the rest of the gang goes off on adventures?

This is a great question, and I don't know the answer. But if the answer is no then when you leave your ship you'll have to leave the hangar open. It should still be open when you get back.

leaving ship hangar doors open while you out and about would be quite security risk

Not sure but I'm sure it's more for the use of we are going here while the main ship goes here. Think of it like the shuttles on Star trek. When they shuttle down, a lot of times the Enterprise goes on another mission. But maybe they will add it in later.

It’s one of the top questions for the pisces q&a

Thanks, I'll look for that

It wouldn't surprise me if you couldn't because the ship wasn't built to be solo'd. So whoever the carrack pilot is would naturally close the hangar after the pisces flew out

Thumb twiddling gameplay loop confirmed 😃

Someday yes, but not currently a mechanic in-game yet nor on the roadmap yet

Pisces will have a garage door open clicker in the glove box. Probably.
