Apparently Reid challenged on the DPI on Chiefs WR "Aldrick Robinson"

Sounds like a made up name for a bad fan fiction. Aldrick Robinson: Wide Receiver and no nonsense Private Eye

Pretty sure he's a real receiver on the Vikings Edit: was on the Vikings last year, currently out of the league

Reid didn't even challenge, it was an automatic review after a turnover

So I’m getting a couple things: “Aldrick Robinson” is not a WR for the chiefs and Andy Reid didn’t challenge the play, it was booth review due to a turnover.

Am I missing any other mistakes?

I saw that, too. Sometimes I wonder if the beat guys are even watching the game or if they’re familiar with the rules.

Well, they're journalism majors, so most of them don't even focus on the actual game, but rather on the content they're writing. This guy is complete garbage because he failed at both.

It was obviously a PI because you can't just quickly pull a guy's shoulders back and then run right to where he would have been.

The one Reid challenged, with was clearly pass interference, actually didn't get overturned.

We scored anyway.

My thoughts...

  1. "Aldrick" might be a weird autocorrect... In some ways because it's so wrong and also so weird feel like that is more likely. Had he said "Dewayne" or "Derrick" or something like that I'd say it's more likely he didn't know what was going on.

  2. While there was DPI, it's not what lead to the INT. We/Mahomes got lucky in that fashion. It looks like Mahomes overthrew Hill and Robinson was supposed to be going towards the corner of the endzone.

  3. We'd probably be a bit salty if the situations were reversed. Even though we benefitted, still feels a bit wrong/weird that the INT was overturned because of DPI, especially with #2 being the case.

  4. Gruden is still an idiot all the same. His team got ran out of the stadium in two consecutive weeks. One of them by a terrible Jets team. Acting like the INT being overturned actually impacted the outcome of the game is obnoxious and ignores that even though #2 might be true, DPI should had been called in the first place.

  5. Come on dude, all turnovers are reviewed. This ain't a new rule.

Naw, the guy is just dumb on #1. Aldrick Robinson was a WR that bounced around the league for like 8 years, most recently with the vikings last year.

Ah, fair enough.
