I hated the main game but was blown away by the 3D bonus levels back then.

I actually enjoy it. I just wish the partners weren’t random.

This was such a weird game. The graphics and music are wonderful but there's practically nothing to do in the levels and there's hardly any challenge to getting through them. My impression was that there are hardly any enemies in the levels. It felt somewhat empty and incomplete to me.

This game has by far the best special stages of any 'sonic' game! And if you get past the strange mechanics, the main game is very good also, but irritating in places. But the graphics and music are stellar, and that is really what sonic games have always been about to me anyway. But with all that said, this is literally the only game I have any interest in playing on the 32x, so mine is not even plugged in at the moment because I cannot spare an outlet for it.

I bought a 32X for this game. The comics did a great job fleshing these characters out when I was a kid.

I got Chaotix a few months ago and regretted every second playing through it.
I know it's a terrible game going into it, but I wanted it SO bad as a kid, and now it's mine.
Game is underrated, tbh.

I was so stoked actually getting a 32x back in the day. All my buddies made fun of me. I was like oh yea check this game out.....turned this game on not knowing its was garbage.

You think that’s bad... I had an Atari Jaguar (still have it with Jaguar CD, as well). I can still hear it- “Juagur sucks!” Some pretty good games, though. Just wasn’t as good as it was meant to be.
I still have mine but honestly I'm just hanging on to it until I stop being too lazy to sell it.
I hear the crowd is divided on this one. There are a few that actually like it.
The OST and art almost make it worth it. I always loved how much is going on on the sound test screen.
I don’t know what you’re talking about, it’s one of my favorite Sonic games. Once you learn how to play it properly, it’s so damn satisfying. One big mistake people make is choosing Knuckles when Mighty the Armadillo (palette swapped Sonic) is a much more enjoyable character. You can also learn the pattern for partner character selection and make it mostly not random.
