I've got a nice slab of black walnut I'm working on that I want to finish with Polymerized Tung Oil. But it's got a hole about half an inch across and half an inch deep in the middle. Can I fill that bad boy with black epoxy and still use the Tung oil finish? or will bad things happen?

I'm still trying to figure out if it actually does or it's all in my head. I got some CBD oil to try because I really don't want to be taking tramadol for the rest of my life. It helps me sleep but I swear when I wake up my pain is worse than when I wake up without taking it.
