I wouldn’t, most aren’t designed plus if it’s in a entertainment center airflow won’t be optimal. I especially wouldn’t if it’s liquid cooled

As long as the case is sturdy enough to lay on its side there should be no issue. PC parts including liquid cooling don't know or care what orientation they're mounted in.

As long as there is room for air circulation I don't see a huge issue with it. No component of a PC, including the pump in your AIO, should know or care what orientation it's in.

My only concerns really would be air flow and maybe vibration dampening if you're still using spinning drives at all (maybe just put some rubber feet on the sides of the case).

Will do! I was definitely going to make sure there were rubber feet and some clearance on the underside for airflow. Thanks!

Sorry, but "wants our PC to go"???

Not to be useless here tho, I'd say just run it and check temps to see if the airflow is adequate or not. Nothing else matters in this situation.

honestly, you'll be fine without modding the DVD drive anywho, they're the same as the ps2/360 etc. drives and work fine vertically.

Interesting. It would be more for ease of use and aesthetics anyhow. Thanks!
