Update on my last post a month ago: I passed:)
Hey guys! Made a post around a month ago asking for help when it came to studying, https://www.reddit.com/r/college/comments/e035za/need_help_with_studying_methods/ and I have to say after almost a year sitting in a calc classroom I finally felt confident going into a final.
I ended up getting a 70, which is a C in this class. The teacher, as a result, replaced my worst exam (which was a 31) with it. I ended up getting a C- in the class because of this.
For the first time I didn't freak out when being handed a bunch of questions I thought I knew. I actually practiced the concepts, looked at what I was bad at, used Khan/YT/Paul's online notes to get practice questions, and just grinded.
I know that a C- isn't amazing, but considering I was on the brink of failing the class, I'm really proud of myself and have to thank you guys for giving me the first step to not only conquering this class but conquering how to study stem related courses after not knowing how to at all.
I love coding, and don't want to be stopped just because I might not be super good at upper-level math.
