Hello everyone, I'm looking into starting therapy and was wondering what the consensus is on text-based therapy vs traditional therapy? I'm thinking I want to do text-based but am not sure if it's on the same level as traditional yet.

in a discrete math class and i had a 77 on our first exam... took my second exam and was thinking I got in the 70s ish only to get it back with a 33...

I know around half the class and found out that everyone I know besides one person failed this test...

would it be rude to go to my professors office hours and point out where I think I should have gotten more points? If I knew I messed up on this test I would let it be but I thought I was confident about the content.

anything I can do in general? pretty sure he doesn't curve, bet other people have been in similar situations

2019 was an important year for me. I graduated high school early and went into college. While I was intellectually ready for it, I wasn't mentally or emotionally. I had trouble making friends, couldn't talk to a girl to save my life, and honestly had no self-confidence at all. I fell into the deepest depression of my life as a result. (Just to clarify I'm not clinical.)

On the Fourth of July, I got in a massive argument with my Mother, which culminated in me packing my bags and going to live with my Dad. During that time I would do nothing but play League of Legends. There came a point when I was sitting down at my desk where I seriously questioned what my purpose to live was.

Hello all,

I'm currently going into my first semester of Sophomore year in College with a double major in CS/Philosophy. As of late, I've been creating applications in regards to tackling mental illness (Anxiety, Depression, etc.) and it's making me realize that I'm super interested in learning more about how the human mind works in general.

With that being said I'm contemplating just dropping the Philosophy major (don't have that many classes in it) and picking up a Psychology Major/Minor.

Do any of you have the same background? Is it a background a hiring manager would like? For me personally, I want to keep creating stuff to help those with mental issues, so I'm thinking it would be wo

Hey guys! Made a post around a month ago asking for help when it came to studying, https://www.reddit.com/r/college/comments/e035za/need_help_with_studying_methods/ and I have to say after almost a year sitting in a calc classroom I finally felt confident going into a final.

I ended up getting a 70, which is a C in this class. The teacher, as a result, replaced my worst exam (which was a 31) with it. I ended up getting a C- in the class because of this.

For the first time I didn't freak out when being handed a bunch of questions I thought I knew. I actually practiced the concepts, looked

Hey guys, before I get started, I've been lurking this sub for a while but never really felt the need to post anything. If this post violates this subreddit's rules feel free to remove this post:) tl;dr at bottom.

So I'm in my second semester of college, and I honestly hate it, I've had trouble making friends, have really bad grades, and in general, feel lost. I've always had problems with anxiety and depression but I would say this past year it has hit the hardest. I'm a computer science major, but I'm pretty bad with anything math related (past pre-calc); but am really really creative, as i'm a INFJ. At my worst, I sit in my room and do nothing, no showering, no eating, etc. Going to the
