Lets see, this is the car where honda forgot that people liked the civic because of its simplicity and it being fun to drive, so they made it look like a flunky transformer, forgot that people want AWD nowadays and made it FWD,, then they overprice them and make a ton of money anyways because some people never move past that 16-22 year old mentality of "Yeah Hondas are cool."

Eh, the type R will definitely smoke a tuned gti/jetta with stock internals. My stage 1 mk6 puts down 250hp/300tq. And thats with front wheel drive.

I have a 2008 pathfinder that does 0-60 in 4.7s but then again it does have a NA 5.7L V8 with K&N air intake, Gibson Catback, and D.T long tubes and a weinstec tune
Not really, other contenders in the hot hatch market are faster to 60. Both the VW golf r and Ford focus RS get to 60mph in 4.5s. That being said, a tad over 5 seconds is still very quick.
RS and Golf R are AWD, of course they have a faster 60.

It’s 1.5 seconds slower than the Porsche Taycan around the Nordschleife. It’s no slouch. I’d certainly have more fun driving a RWD car, but you can’t deny how quick the FK8 Type R is.
