I had a fun discussion with my administrator at the facility I’m contracted to. Backstory: No empty beds has been the usual for the past month and a half, and new concerns have started for hurricane ida where they are calling in mandatory shifts and keeping the patients in the hospital 24/7. Anyone not called in was basically told to shelter or evacuate leading up to the shift tonight.

Today we started getting some very thinly veiled threats emailed from the facility and redirected through the contract company saying that they expected all contract staff to report for shifts even if they aren’t apart of the designated teams. Fantastic, especially since so many of us live in Airbnb spo

My contender peach is planted in potting mix with a half inch of mulch on top, underneath all of that is a rather unfriendly amount of clay heavy soil. I bought this and planted it on the same day, and in the past three days since transplant it’s started to have leaves curling and dying. I’ve been following the watering guidelines while being careful not to overwater since the clay soil around it won’t drain as well. Any tips?https://imgur.com/a/AisDGB2/

Can we get a master list of merchandise available from the teams? I’m sure there are plenty of us who would like to help by buying merchandise and showing support.

I recently purchased a used BGE Medium and have been smoking 2-3 times per week. It’s not been an issue to smoke ribs or chicken but when I start trying to smoke some brisket or some butts, I have ran into problems with inconsistently either losing heat or using way too much charcoal.

As I know the unit is used, I cleaned out the ash and refilled before I cooked my brisket yesterday but about 8 hours in, I started losing heat according to my probes. This is not the first time this has happened, as I haven’t been able to go without managing the smoker about once an hour or two just to maintain temps etc. I was forced to open the smoker, remove the meat and place more charcoal. Just a spot to say what you are most excited about taking home from GenCon, as well as share stories of your favorite moments.

For me, I played my first session of D&D thanks to Baldman Gaming and their wonderful DMs as well as a very good session of DC Heroes.

I also picked up a lot of good cards for Magic, demoed some new board games that I'll pick up shortly and readied my supplies for Warmachine Journeyman league thanks to the awesome people at the Privateer Press booth.

I've only played one RPG (Star Wars) and I don't have a lot of experience creating characters etc but does anyone actually teach Pathfinder or D&D to adults? I see learn to plays for kids but otherwise, no idea.

TLDR: help make a 28 year old man into a druid

Have any of you had a chance to play against it yet? It's insane how this deck is so consistent. I never got past turn 2 against it in 4 games tonight. You have to have removal on turn 1 or two to get kid of Ryoma or Morgiana.

Just calling it now, but if R/R got nerfed over its ability to fly through a deck, there is no way this deck will last long without key pieces being errata'ed.

Typical deck list as I've encountered:

Ruler: Puss in Boots/D'Artagnan

4 Ryoma (color fixing musketeer from Vingolf) 4 Demonic Orb (convert the moon will into any color with Ryoma) Whisper of the Abyss (I think that's the name, basically pay life to draw more cards, go through 3/4 of the deck to dro

I've been working on a deck that on paper looks very aggro considering the number of resonators on board. However, it really is a very control based deck and I have had good amounts of success in my local scene with it over the past few weeks. I thought I'd share my deck list and my thoughts behind each. I do have some tournament experience though I just recently missed making top 8 in our state ARG tournament with a different deck.

I've been calling it Sethlhu for lack of a better name considering the deck runs on Seth, the Arbiter and interactions with various Cthulhu.

The primary focus of the deck is the abuse of the incarnation mechanic and retrieval of incarnate fodder from the g

For me, I won our prerelease tournament (8 person, went 3-0). For the games, I pulled a lot of nice white cards but I focused with a red green aggro while using the default ruler. I pulled a few cards on my want list for the set to use in the prerelease deck, but the highlight came in my packs from winning. 3 packs were given to the winner and I pulled Yggdrasil and Shion immediately. Great way to end the day.

I'm all into the idea of making my mono Green deck a Vlad ramp with some cards to try and stall aggro.

My deck looks something like this.

Ruler: Vlad Tepes

4x Elvish Priest 1x Gretel (waiting on three more) 1x Fiethsing (waiting on one more) 4x Hansel and Gretel 2x Djinn, Spirit of the Lamp 4x Christie, the Warden of Sanctuary 2x Darwin 3x Blessing of Yggdrasil 2x Behemoth (these will be removed) 1x Ratatoskr, the Spirit Beast of Yggdrasil 1x Refarth, the Wind Castle 3x Scheherazade, the Teller of Crimson Moon 3x Melfee, the successor of the Sacred Wind (will be removed)

Counters and Tempo cards

Absolute Cake Zone x4 Law of Silence x2 Keen Sense x4

I haven't had any Xeex but I'm tr
