Got a question about Episode 7 of the Netflix Series (Spoilers)
So in the beginning why did Mousesack not know that the queen sent Cintran soldiers to abdcut Geralt? I'm really confused by this.

Yes! I totally forgot Cintra doesn't use mages! Thanks. What is Cintra's history with court mages? Why don't they like employing them?

The Queen might not have trusted him to not tip off Geralt to the ambush.
In episode 4 we did learn they are old friends, so this makes sense.
Conversely, she could have found out he was there when Mousesack had already left to meet with him.
