Stats at time of achievement were 75 ranged (for blowpipe), 78 HP, 75 def, 70 prayer! I know that this is well past when most players get it, but it's still a huge achievement for me. Died during first attempt due to panicking at healers unfortunately.
I'm at 92/94/86/84 range/hp/def/pray and still dont have mine rip

Do it tbh. It kind of hurt a bit to add up the supplies on the failed attempt and realize the failed attempt was 500k, but it just made me read more and watch a couple more fights. I also abused the wave 3 reset trick (wherever the wave 3 level 45 spawns, that's where Jad spawns) to make SURE Jad spawned south of Italy rock.
500k? what'd you use rune darts the whole way?
Used blow pipe the whole way. Scales + addy darts + super restores and brews. This is a bit rough, but it took me 13174x10 super restores+5363x6 saradomin brews+1500x228 zulrah scales = appx. 500k GP.
As you can see, I was not exactly fast lol.
First 30 waves would be borderline afk at your def level, and you'd almost be able to kill jad through healers with bp and dragon darts so you could really take your time when switching to them to get their aggro.
I've done jad 6 times for slayer tasks. At 79 def, 93 range and 78 prayer I use like 2-3 brews and 6-8 prayer/restores. Just do it mane. You'll see how simple it is and regret not doing it sooner.
I always have trouble with the healers. Do you grab their attention and run or try to straight tank?
I just straight tanked them, although I did wind up only tanking 2 I believe. I was brewed to 91 hp prior to starting the wave.
