Randomly appeared in lumbridge WHILE playing ?

Question

I was cannoning hill Giants and than the screen just switched to lumby spawn ??? No animations just blinked there.

No I didn't die , still had full inventory and all gear equiped.

No I did not have a ring of life equiped I had archers ring.

No one telothered me , the chat box emptied and said "welcome to RuneScape". I was also enchanting bolts and thought I pressed spacebar as someone telothered me at first and the animation just didn't show or something. But that wasn't the case.

No 6hr log was involved im casual.

My cannon was still at the hill giants.

Any thoughts ?

Maybe an invisible mod teleported you to see if you were a bot?

I just heard about this today, I will assume that's what it was since I was a new account and grinding hard with a cannon I suppose ! Thank you.

Used to abuse this on a private server. It had a safe death zone, I'd teleport players on the same tick their death occurred to the respawn tile.

Their loot would belong to a player who did the most damage - me on my alt account.

The point of this story? I'm sorry random twelvies I'd abused all those years ago.

you used to be able to pk people in player houses if they went through a portal in a dungeon on the same tick you koed them, and it'd drop their loot for you wherever they ported to

that shit funded my 99 magic first time around and i'd do it again in a heartbeat

I do somewhat miss the "wild west" days of real runescape.

Nowadays it's very much... well, mature. Which has it's own strengths and merits.

If you were using the spell book could you have missclicked the Lumbridge teleport on accident without noticing?

I only had cosmic, air, and nature's as I had just hit 27 magic for enchanting emerald bolts. Didn't even have law runes in the bank as the account is like 3 days old and I had just started mage grind. But if I had somehow hit the home teleport would it empty my chat box and just say welcome to RuneScape ? While enchanting it adds a chat saying that youbwnchant the bolts . It adds like 10 chatbox entries for one enchant spell

Yo around the time you posted this i had some weird shit happen to me too. I had a full inventory of pure eas and I was making astrals. I clicked the altar and it took all my ess and only gave me 5 astral runes
