Any Surface Pro competitor with more than 13” screen?

I’m personally in the market for a 15” tablet with desktop os (Windows/macOS/Linux). The ones from ASUS, HP, Acer are all 13” and below. Any other OEM I should check out?

I've never heard anyone want a 15' tablet before. Tablets in that size are very niche, since the vast majority of people want something between 10-13 inches.

BUT, to answer your question, there is, of course, the surface book 15, and, there's Wacom cintiqs, I've seen Cintiqs as large as 17 inches, but, they're EXTREMELY expensive. Other than that, there really isn't any dedicated tablets with pen support larger than 13 inches.

And the Cintiq is not a stand alone tablet, the Wacom Companion is.

Oh really? That was my bad

Yeah, they're more of a graphics tablet on a monitor, no PC guts.

surface book 2 15" but that's pricey

I don't know how much the tablet portion can survive on its own. Plus for the price it's a shame to get a downgrade in performance (whiskey lake)

Maybe for the 3rd iteration...

The HP Zbook x2 is 14" but it is not a light or what i'd consider portable.

It uses the superior EMR technology and has express keys along the side of the screen which are programmable for various functions.

Also has a bluetooth keyboard which is functional whiile detached.

The HP Envy x360 is not detachable but there is a 15" it is a tent style 2-in-1 where the screen flips back over the keyboard. I do believe it uses Ntrig like the Surface line.

other than that you would be looking at the

Wacom Mobile Studio Pro @ 15.6"

The Acer z3-700 @ 17.5" though it seems to use a celeron processor

and the Panasoniz Toughbook Fz-y1 @ 20"

Panasonic are way too old, The acer is so old.it doesn't even come with an SSD.

Seems like there was some testing some time ago for this type of format but then it disappeared completely.

Anyway, the hp and Wacom are near to what I'm looking for but they're heavy (literally the weight of THREE surface pros), bulky (those bezels), and they still only come in a whiskey lake. And they're still pricey as hell. I can only accept 2 of this max 😁

At CES this week they announced the new 15" HP Spectre x360 was getting updated with barely there bezels, smaller form factor and a comet lake cpu. It should be out at the end of the month. It's now a 15" 4k screen in a chassis the Switzer of a typical 14" laptop

If it doesn't weight too much it'll be a great option. Do we know the weight already?
