what, no Famichiki?
no MILF mags either
No nikuman or "American" dog either. I can feel my blood pressure rising, I think it's time for a one cup before the start of my week. Guess I'll stroll down to my local conbini and let the Indian workers know.
Of all the things... How could they miss that?!
We need a new bingo card just for foodtards giving themselves a reach-around over conbinis.
blown away, umami, fresh, "stalls", using words like "savory" for a fucking pizza-man...
I'll try knock one up, fnarr fnarr...
"I visited a convenience store in Japan and it's so much better than ones in the US" and "Lawson felt like a miniature grocery store filled with a wide variety of foods and beverages."
How crappy are convenience stores in the US like that make the ones in Japan seem so amazing? Like, how is this surprising that there are a "wide variety of foods and beverages," when that's basically the point!
Also, seach "filled with" in that page -- lady needs to up her vocabulary game after using the phrase 11 times.
on one hand, US convenience stores do tend to be overpriced shitholes designed to basically suck up EBT points from poor people compared to here (except for like, decent bodegas). On the other hand, it's a fucking regular Lawson, not the Promised Land. Her write-up couldn't be more frothy j-dick sucking if it was written while kneeling in a fashion health.
What are EBT points?
Oh dang I miss a good NYC bodega ...
I may have the terms slightly wrong since i haven't been there in awhile, but i think it is also called SNAP? Food stamps, basically, which come on electronic debit cards now.
Oh gotcha thanks
Filled with
That's about $…
Portable
Portable cakes! I always just ate mine off the shelf like the filthy gaijin dog I am
When I've visited the US (generalising from 3 cities lol) they really didn't seem to have local supermarkets or even cornershops that weren't super sketchy. Closest thing was some chemists like CVS had big branches that would have a few sandwiches and so on, but it was like a Boots-tier selection (which is what you'd expect). I don't know if everyone just drives to the out-of-town supermarkets or what, but it was weird.
There's only one snack I'm eating in that photo..... :-P

Lawson was filled with variety.
I wonder what she was filled with the night before.
Whoring on Instagram just got more.....Conbinient
“At the Lawson the bentos (portable lunches) are prepared fresh...” lmfao what?
What they mean is, it sits on the shelf for 9 hours before some poor soul buys it.
Hey, they are not wrong. It was "prepared fresh", that doesn't mean it's fresh when someone buys it.
still sound better than "at some point it was fresh"
