The other TL for Team Anjou here. It dropped during the night for me and I’ve awoken to see this situation.
Honestly, Facepalm were very quiet for a long time and we just wanted content even if we had to do it ourselves. There’s no Ill will, more annoyance that they kept claiming it was going to appear and did not. that is simply it.
I am new to translation, beyond collaboration efforts with Irma kun on /a/ so please excuse if it’s sometimes a little rough. to answer the concerns regarding Kawaii \cute that some of Facepalm members have. we actually deliberated this: maybe it was the wrong call to make, maybe.
Oh and Facepalm we have raws beyond 55. Thanks for your concern it was only up to 55 we have.

Hi, roci here, one of the translators. Been working on this for a week or two now whenever we had time. Lots of redraws where we could improve quality a bit since the raw scans are lacking, and making sure we didn't drop any nuances in translation. We wanted to have a good first release and have been shooting for a Wednesday release on our subreddit but it's here ahead of schedule! (no particular reason why :D).
Feedback is appreciated since we're a group from the subreddit discord looking to keep releases of this more consistent going forward.
A little concerned considering another translator group of much higher translation count seemed to not only get Chapter 53 but also Chapter 54. Even as if their translation is alright I absolutely adore your translations compared to theirs. If this quality continues I honestly wouldn't mind waiting more time for a more enjoyable translation.
Judging from the Mangadex comments it seems intentional that the user in that group just decided to swipe it, if my sarcasm detectors are correct. There's no way they just look at something, say it's "dead for months" and then suddenly when you guys announce work on it their translations come out a couple minutes right before yours.
We found the thread the /a/ TLs came from, they've only got 53/54 at least for now. The timing was incredibly poor and we didn't get a chance to alert /a/ since our other TL was asleep. We'll be releasing 54 first before we move on to our material for the raws, in the name of consistency. I know our sub was dying for content, so we'll want to get 55 out as early as possible.
/a/ isn't really a group. In this case there was an Anjou thread yesterday where someone did a live TL and someone else just typeset it.
