First time trying for business on a United international flight as ZED, really curious about what the clearing order is for standbys. I checked in with the ePass line and it seems that the availability reported in StaffTraveler is seats strictly for standby (aka if it says 1 seat available and you’re first on the standby list, it’s yours) but I can’t figure out how status/paid upgrades factor into that availability calculation. Is there some way to glean that from the info available in the app, or is StaffTraveler my only bet?

Monitoring 857 from SFO-PVG through ICN, and requests on StaffTraveler consistently indicated at least of handful of Econ seats, but calling the United ePass tells me that economy is 34 seats overbooked? I’ve never seen such a big difference before, is there something weird because of the ICN crew change?

With the new testing changes that only require one test within 48 hours of departure, has there been changes to where the test has to be from? I know the health code has to be applied with the testing location’s local consulate, but if I’m flying out of SFO but traveling from TX to SFO first, can the test be taken in TX and applied with the Washington consulate?

I’m helping my folks with (attempting) to get an emergency humanitarian visa because one of my uncles has ended up in the ICU. Going through the embassy site and this detailed google doc, I’ve already gathered the main requirements and sent them to the right email address, including proof of kinship, hospital certificate, IDs of both parties.

Been looking to get a new car, and one of the listings at a local dealer was this 2018 Camry LE. I don't know that much about cars, but it seems like this would be a great deal. It's only got 9.4k miles, all the basic features I'd like, and I'm fine with the color. Is there something like a catch I'm missing? Looks like it's a clean CarFax but I don't have a way to check so I'm just taking the dealer's word. It's emo hours right now and I can't help but feel a little nostalgic. I haven't checked this sub in a while, but I still get a warm, happy feeling when I do. Reminds me of some pretty awesome memories I've spent with the people here, as cheesy as that sounds. I've played a lot of games since I've moved on from Tagpro but I've yet to find a community so open, welcoming, and sincerely kind like this one. Life moves on, and I don't want to look at the past too much, but I'll always remember Sphere fondly. Hopefully I'll cross paths with some of ya'll in the future! Of course, as part of that process, all parties signed a sales agreement to be closed within 45 days. Chase had already cleared us through prequalification (and was underwriting the mortgage) without an issue and we promptly paid our earnest money.

Our first mistake was going with an agent from the same real estate company as our agent, while it seems like our second mistake was using a title company of their choosing as they insisted.
