Minimize the Chat ?

I'm in a meeting with screen sharing...another colleague messages me separately from the meeting. My choices appear to be watch the screensharing and ignore the message or expand the chat window to take up 75% of the screen and reduce the screen sharing to a size too small to be useful. Am I missing something? Why can't I dock or float the chat while i'm engaged in a meeting?

It’s on the roadmap that you will be able to pop out chat conversations and other parts of Teams into separate windows. Which would help resolve this issue for you.

Unfortunately for now it’s limited to a single window application.

If you have multiple monitors you can run the private chat in a browser window via the web version until they introduce the pop out feature.

I hate that I have to do it but... When I'm in a meeting I just use the mobile app while the meeting is on my screen. Cant wait till the pop out functionality is released.
