Alternate Amazon account?
I understand using incognito mode when doing niche research on Amazon, but did any of you create entirely separate Amazon accounts to keep your normal house hold purchasing separate from your Amazon publishing (and erotica purchasing)?

I think it's pretty important to draw a line here between "purchasing" and "publishing."
Reading smut on another account, so long as you aren't doing anything shitty like reviewing other books, etc, has been okay in my experience, but only publish on one account. Amazon is pretty clear on that point.
Good point. I guess I should have been more specific in my question. Do you keep your publishing account separate from your “consumer” account (i.e. Prime Video, Christmas gift buying, shared family accounts)?
My publishing account is the one associated with me, a real human, that can prove ownership. I could've set it up under a DBA of my business, but didn't bother.
Generally speaking, use your real Amazon account for publishing.
You can use one account for multiple pen names?
Yes.
Intrigued. Why would this be considered shitty? Aren’t we as authors entitled to an opinion on other author‘s work? Is this the general consensus? I could see that reviewing your own work would be wrong, and also to report other authors for blatantly flouting the Zon’s rules, but I can’t see the logic in this claim.
I think it's generally considered to be covered by Amazon's policy regarding competitor's products:
Just conferred with google and found this
Haven't read the guidlines but point two clearly states it's okay providing no personal relationship exists. I can understand it would be wrong if you were working with an ulterior motive to post negative views all over the place for no reason though.
