Build Upgrade

I'm upgrading my 5-year-old PC, but I'm not entirely sure on which motherboard to use.

I would like to be able to apply a modest OC to the CPU without needing to replace the 212X. As far as I can tell that should be possible with this setup, and the 212X should be able to plug into the Aorus without an adapter. I don't mind spending slightly more on a better motherboard if there's a performance improvement, but I don't really know what the advantages of the other chipsets are. I've also heard about BIOS issues with the B450 chipset, but as far as I know they're limited to MSI boards.

ASRock b450m pro 4 has slightly better vrms for $70. Both should be updated by this point. Both should be plenty for anything you want to do with a 3600

The most common board for a 3600 right now is the B450 Tomahawk MAX. All BIOS issues have been solved. All boards made since June have had a compatible BIOS from the factory and the MSI MAX branded boards came out after 3000 launched.
