Just wanted to share a tip for an exercise that has worked really well for me :)
I just wanted to share a tip that has helped me a lot in achieving/choosing the reality I want, if that makes any sense.
I've been lurking for a really long time, way back to when the old subreddit was still active. Back then, I tried both the two glasses-method and the mirror one. I didn't have that much success, and things were kinda "rumbled", in the sense that I had focused on a specific name instead of person (long story). Anyways, everything is well, but in the past year or so I've had a lot of success with "choosing". So I basically see it as a mental exercise.
When I'm in a situation, and I want to achieve a specific desired outcome, I imagine myself kinda "stepping into" the reality in where that outcome is going to happen (right here, right now). I imagine this universe being a bubble, and every possible reality, from my current point, being bubbles around me. It's quite simple really, I just focus on the one I want to be in, "step into" that mentally, and keep going as everything was, only with the knowledge of whats going to happen.
I don't know if it works because I'm literally changing realities or if it's because my behaviour changes as a result of this new "knowledge" and therefore increases my chances of the desired outcome, perhaps due to confidence. I really can't say, but it works like a charm. Honestly, there have been a few situations where it looked as if there was no possibility for it to turn around, but I did this exercise and things somehow turned around completely and what I wanted to happen was exactly what happened.
Anyways, I just wanted to share this and I hope it's useful to someone. If you have any questions just ask :)
