So yeah, as the title says I got curious since I'm neurodivergent myself (ASD/ADHD). I'm aware that a lot of women, like myself (including other conditions too) are at higher risk of running into LVM. Definitely have been there myself, but I'm so done with all this after finding this sub.

Anyways, I also want to thank you all for supporting each other and for giving good advice. Thanks to you I recently got out of a bad, and probably abusive, relationship. It's been hard for me to identify what was wrong, what was okay and what wasn't, but you all set me on a straight path again. <3

Recently caught my new roommate, caught her red-handed btw, puncturing my bike. Long story short; she tried to deny it, and everything's kinda sucked. Since, she denied it I never found out why, and honestly kinda doubted what I had seen.

Anyways, today I woke up to seeing parts of my plant (that was standing in the kitchen) in the trashcan. Long pieces had been taken off. I immediately suspected my roommate and went to her room with the pieces and asked her why she had done it. She denied it at first, then said that it was an accident. I said "oh" and went back to the kitchen only to discover that it had in fact been cut off with a scissor in three different spots. This is the second time

I lost a good friend today. He was like a fucking twin to me but I never told him. He was one of the greatest people I've ever known. One of the most loyal, trustworthy, honest and just.. a fucking good friend and person. We were a bunch of people who cared a lot, we still do. He was so fucking good, but he could never fucking see it himself, I think. I think that's why he ended it. I think he thought we'd all be better off without him. It's not true though. I always feared losing him because nobody could replace him ever, and in him I had a friend for life. Just knowing that he was alive gave me hope when I wanted to kill myself. Seeing him keep going through the shit he was going through

I just wanted to share a tip that has helped me a lot in achieving/choosing the reality I want, if that makes any sense.

I've been lurking for a really long time, way back to when the old subreddit was still active. Back then, I tried both the two glasses-method and the mirror one. I didn't have that much success, and things were kinda "rumbled", in the sense that I had focused on a specific name instead of person (long story). Anyways, everything is well, but in the past year or so I've had a lot of success with "choosing". So I basically see it as a mental exercise.

When I'm in a situation, and I want to achieve a specific desired outcome, I imagine myself kinda "stepping into" the rea

I don't know where to begin and the story doesn't really matter anyways. I attempted suicide once when I was younger, I survived, and now (about 5? years later) I'm worse than I ever was. I feel driven up against a wall and I can't see an escape anywhere. I'm in a dumb situation right now, and someone told me today that I might have to give up my education so I won't become homeless, which makes no sense because that means that I have to apply for disability, which I can't get because I'm "just fine" on paper. On top of that my application for the autism-center (in my country) was rejected, not by the organization, but by the people in charge of economy in my municipality. Obviously this is

Just 10 mins ago, I left my apartment and on my way to the bus I saw someone I know, who's also a friend of my boyfriend's.

He stuck his arms out wide, and I stopped then I just stared at him for about 3-4 seconds until I realised that he was trying to just give me a friendly hug. Up until then I seriously had no fucking idea why the hell he would put his arms out wide and just smile.

I feel so dumb now. No matter how much I practice this stuff will still get me sometimes and I'll stand there clueless. I don't mind that I seem rude occasionally, but I do mind when people think I don't like them because I fail to understand the situation.

This is just a small rant, but god damn both of

I'm like mildly stressed. I have an important exam tomorrow, and depending on how that goes I may or may not get to study what I applied for this summer.

It's an oral exam, and I usually go into complete shut down more or less. I'm able to get a few words out, but not much 'cause I end up choking up. I just get this intense overwhelming feeling in my body and I just freeze up. I get insanely clumsy, my palms get sweaty, the list goes on.

I think, in the past, it may have had to do with me knowing I could've been better prepared, because I usually cram studied a bit. This time though, I've managed to get my things in order and I feel way way more prepared than before. From a

Background information: been working at a bar for about 7 months. There has been a lot of management changes. They’ve been difficult mostly because I had a good relationship with the first manager, and a shit one with the rest after she left. I’ve been working without a contract this whole time, despite asking many times if I could get one so we could agree on which hours and so forth.

I need stability. I need to know what shifts I have in advance and if I’m off that means I’m off and you can’t expect me to show up just because you call and “no one else can take the shift”, like, that’s not MY problem.

The list of problems is very long and I could keep going.

Bottom line is, I showed u

So because I have aspergers I take things quite literally, which often leads to a lot of funny misunderstandings (sometimes some not so funny, but oh well). I was just browsing reddit and saw this meme and wanted to share it with you 'cause it made me laugh. Sometimes I get a bit sad that I have aspergers, but it helps to laugh a bit at the lighter things.

I hope I'm allowed to share a link to the post here, if not then I'm very sorry and understand if it has to be removed.

So I have an exam in two days, in HL chemistry.

I've pretty much got this mental block when it comes to trusting my own calculations, but even worse; it's an oral exam.

I'm terrified 'cause I hate oral exams. There's too much emphasis on communication, you get better marks if you seem relaxed, confident and can joke a bit (in the country where I live, "we're" very social). I just am not very confident when it comes to speaking in front of people, and even less if I know they are going to judge what I'm saying.

With written exams I do absolutely fine. No anxiety, almost excited even, but orals are just not my thing. Last time I had one, I only barely passed, mostly because I became unabl

TLDR; Depression is back, tried to do the things that worked last time, but they don't seem to be working. Looking for input in how to cope with feelings and perhaps strategies to get out of it again.

I realized yesterday that I was probably depressed again. Recently when I've picked up my guitar (which normally instantly improves my mood) I've literally just put it down again. I don't even feel like playing, don't know what to play. I haven't been attending my chemistry course later (exams are in two weeks) because I just can't get out of bed. I'll wake up when my alarm rings and I'll turn it off and go back to sleep. I don't even argue with myself about it anym

I'm crazy, I think. I went to the psych ward last night after a breakdown at a garden party. My friends were all with me and made sure I got there safe. Once I was there I waited for hours. I told them I wanted to kill myself and they told me that a suicide center would contact me in about two weeks latest. I dont know what to do. I won't kill myself now but that's only 'cause I feel like I am too weak. I tried once before and didn't succeed. I have much to live for, but I don't have the will. These thoughts are all scrambled because I am drunk and high right now. I don't like this world. It's not for me. Society is fucked up in general. The world is cruel and so am I. I don't want to hurt p

I just need to let some things out. I'm completely overloaded travelling in a foreign city. Currently I am completely alone. My two friends left just a few hours ago to go back home, so I'm just laying in the hotel room alone. Me and one of my friends got into a fight yesterday while out at a club and resolved it, ending with us both apologizing to eachother luckily, but things were still said and it hurts. I've apparantly been really selfish lately, but only because I felt that I have had to since I've let people step on me for too long. It still ended quite sour with me not being able to talk until the next morning 'cause I just felt so so bad. In the morning I stayed and slept in and went
