Why did cenk uygur lose so badly? 5% in the CA 25th district primary. I expected him to win or at least top 2. He was crushed. Why this bad?

  1. Not a progressive district. It's rural California.

  2. No presence. I was there, I saw literally no signs for him or anything.

  3. He's a bad choice, hate to break it to people. He should run in LA

Yeah how did he even run, being i seen him on that show all the time, a show that district likely has no clue about. Maybe he ran as prop to get more people to watch. If not for any other reason, i have no clue why.

Maybe it was a "Trial run" to work out kinks, or should I say , Cenks, in his process ? 😂😂

People don't vote for candidates that don't even live in their district. They see this big city guy come in and try and take a seat in their rural district and it didn't go over well.

I think the fact that he had to move (even though it was really close) to run was really bad optics.

It’s not a rural district.

He may not be that well known of a person outside of certain political bubbles like ours. He may have just looked like another candidate to most and adding in the smears wouldn’t help. He was also facing tough competition backed by big Establishment politicians and organizations.

On another note, it is nice that Shahid Buttar finished second and moves on to the November election. Will be a tough fight for him, too

Cenk is just an unlikable person. It's unfortunate because I largely agree with him, but it's true.
