LMAO
Can’t have a virus if everyone catches it and dies
What’s going on there?
Don't know.. Maybe.. They are just enjoying the sun.. But looks like a joint effort to spread the virus..
It’s just a pop out
Tf is wrong with the people and the university.. People are crossing the area to get to classes and there are these guys smoking and dancing with music.. There are herds of people at a time of such pandemic disease.. You can smell the tobacco and what I believe was (weed) in the air.. Everyone is becoming a passive smoker Where is the task force..??
Yes but if it really bothered those people DECIDING ON THEIR OWN to walk through the circle, they would have DECIDED ON THEIR OWN to walk around the congregation of people. Don't act like you have not smelled weed on a college campus.
Honestly, I haven't..you might call me dull..i am fine with it..( at least not in a in-campus, public area) No one should be forced to take a different way than he/she wants... Just because some people have taken up a public area..
I wouldn't and won't call you dumb, sorry for my assumption. But I would still disagree with your second point, no one is forcing people to go a different way. As you said, it is a public space so people will be there.
Obviously you’ve never been on Livi on any spring day over 65 degrees. Gatherings like this are common place at the plaza and by the student center. It’s just ppl getting together and enjoying the nice weather
It's different to have a gathering at a normal day.. But at a time when WHO has recommended isolation and to avoid gathering.. It doesn't make sense..
Whats going on here??
Of course, when people of color gather around to have fun on a nice day, someone always has to equate that to negativity. Typical.
Exactly like the people on this sub are acting like college ave didn't have dages all yesterday afternoon, for a school that claims to be diverse and inclusive Rutgers really isn't, like people are really disturbed by a small gathering that stayed within the livi circle. Like nothing big took place to disturb the peace, and someone actually included something about bringing teargases to spray the group of students like wtf

Because students can go back home to individuals who do not have great immune systems (elderly, etc)
FUCKING HOLI (hindu holiday look it up). Worst idea ever to not cancel this, fuck me modi
Nah.. Don't think it's Holi.. It's something else..
Oh damn my bad. Someone else told me it’s for holi but guess not
The Rutgers event for Holi is in April actually (usually March is too cold for it here). Also, there'd be a lot more color.
Yea yeah my source was wrong😕 but I won’t expose them😳
bruh chill
Imagine protesting a college not closing down in an epidemic by congregating together in a large mass, allowing for easier spread of viruses.
Social Media's the best way rn.. Writing emails etc.
They are not protesting, its a just a function
I mean hey, the point will be made even quicker
It's like when those climate change protestors in DC caused traffic backup for hours... increasing pollution because the cars were idle.
That’s not at all the same. It’s a faulty analogy my dude. The action the protestors In DC were callIng for is targeted at the 100 companies responsible for 71% of carbon emissions. The damage done by the people on an individual level is not nearly enough to accomplish what is necessary. Just sayin’.
Can't people just slowly push them out of the way? You can have freakin' NFL Lineman out there, he still won't be able to push back against even a Honda Civic that's in gear.
edit: and where were the cops and the teargas? They freakin' shot teargas canisters at a Rutgers block party during Delafest, they can't clear out a road?
This is not the road and this is nothing compared to what happened during Delafest.
Because I wasn't clearly replying to a comment about the DC protest. Dumbass.
