So, Italy quarantined a big chunk of their population in the north a few days ago. Last night they announced they were quarantining the rest of the country. Italy aplarently has quite a large population of elderly, and ia being hit hard by the cv-19 as a result. Anyone on Vicenza able to comment?

Still ordered to report today at Caserma Ederle. There is a memo we have to print off and keep it in the car if stop by the Carabineri. Only things authorized for being outside your house is work, emergencies, and groceries. The situation here is getting worse by the day especially with the high elderly population.

Military bases will.probably follow the guidance of the host nation government for the most part. I know there are organizations that are in Italy that are no longer attending events in other parts of Europe. I'm sure if there was an emergency, they would.ignore, but best thing right now is to abide by the quarantine and follow garrison and command directions.
