Apple Watch Stand Notifications
I know this has been asked before, unfortunately the answers I often see isn't something I can use.
I really do like my stand notifications, however I also suffer from insomnia/sleep issues. I cannot count the amount of times I have been woken up from a near sleep from my watch telling me to stand up. I am looking for a way to prevent this however these have been the only solutions I have seen, does anyone have anything different?
- Turn off the notification - Prefer not to, I do like it
- Set up a DnD - I am on call for my work and cannot risk missing a call by having DnD enabled
- Take the watch off at night - I use it to track my sleep issues so that wouldn't work

Set up DND. On the iPhone, Settings / Do Not Disturb, change "Allow Calls From" to "Everyone". (Optionally, if work always calls you from the same numbers, create a contact with those numbers, go into the Phone app and tap the "Favorites" icon, click "+" and add the number contact for every number you want to get through DND, and leave the default DND "Allow Calls From" set to "Favorites".)

Blocked is straight to vm I believe (I’ve never tried calling somebody with dnd on, so it may “ring” on their end while your phone remains silent.). If you allow calls, even from favorites, yes, they notify (ringtone if you are not in silent mode and vibration.). The same goes if you turn on the (default) option “Repeated calls” - if the same number calls back within three minutes, the phone rings.
You can surely test this yourself, though. Ask a friend to call you in 10 minutes and then turn on DND. See what happens when they call.

Turn off stand notifications then. Or set a couple of daily reminders to yourself to turn them off at 10:55 pm and turn them back on at 5:30 am.
