Looks neat. Never heard of Edge... how does it compare to vim?
Thanks!
Edge and vim are similar, I guess. Roughly same philosophy: runs in the Linux terminal, has a "commands" mode separate from insert mode. It also has some features from GNU Screen or tmux, like the ability to run nested shells or such. Another difference is that it's multi threaded and all IO operations are asynchronous, so it never blocks waiting on input. I guess the last difference is that the extension language is a subset of C++ (rather than vimsyntax). But, of course, vim has waaay more users. :-) I've been working on Edge roughly since 2014 (and have used it exclusively since around 2015 in my daily job as a software engineer), but never really showed it around all that much.
Hope that helps and thanks again for your comment.
