We just made some changes to the old-style mobile site to make it more useable on Kindles. Give it a look at m.reddit.com and let me know what you think

Sweet, looks good. Might be easier to read on a kindle if the links had more contrast.
Any tips in improving the contrast? I made them a dark as I could
Is it easier to read when the link color is just black? What about when it isn't over the blue background? Keep up the good work
I don't follow. It's just black on white. Are you sure you're looking at m.reddit.com and not i.reddit.com?
It looks great to me when visiting m.reddit.com. It's pretty much black and white, not sure what dxu is seeing.
Anyways, thanks so much for this! I don't browse reddit on my kindle very often, but it's great to know this is another option if I'm in need of a fix.
thanks for doing this
Thank you so much!
Looks awesome!
It's a big improvement, thanks!
Bookmarked!
Large threads might be a little hard to read with everything expanded but I'd rather be able to access links and whatnot. This is version is very easy to navigate with the Kindle.
It looks much better. Thanks!
is it me or you all cannot comment when in mobile mode(not i.reddit.com)? The changes are great. easier to read
ah, ok. I can see why you did it for kindles. But it is broken now on my G1. I know about i.reddit.com, but my G1 can't handle it so I've been happily using m.reddit.com. Any chance of a preference to use the old style sheet? see http://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/fu7ut/mredditcom_broken_on_android/
How is it broken?
edit: Ah I see your screenshot there. Weird. I wonder how that happened, I didn't increase the padding there or anything
it actually does the same thing in FF 3.6.13 if you make the window width very narrow. It looks like the div for each comment needs to have a minimum width set.
Are you sure that that didn't happen before too?
come to think of it, I'm not sure. The font size used to be very small on my android, and since reddit only shows a limited set of nested comments before linking the rest, it's possible that I was just not as affected before by the layout shown in the above screenshot, as I am now.
I just made firefox very narrow again, this time on the normal reddit page, with some RES tweaks. It does the same thing. The problem is continually shrinking the div width, instead of setting a min-width and showing a horizontal scroll bar. I'm no CSS guru, but I'll see if I can come up with a recommendation.
Roblourens will be upset, but I like it.
One suggestion: Since you have
redd.itnow, why not makem.redd.itwork too. That saves 3 letters, and on a kindle keyboard every letter counts.
