Its a speculation, some say the AK12 will be change to M870 so take this speculations with a grain of salt. I would love an operator with C7E, its one of the best guns by far and hope another op will get the AK12

iirc every operator gets 2 good guns before getting one removed to see which one is more viable with their playstyle

That’s absolutely what happens. Wamai had the AUG and Finka’s Spear. They’ll almost definitely remove one of those guns from the new op.

AR33 is pretty decent but the recoil is not that good. I guess that's why? However i played thatcher with the AR33 only

Nøkk honestly doesn't need new guns the fmg is actually really good with her. Ubi literally said that if nøkk had an ar she would be op. They would also have to remodel the new gun for nøkk so it doesn't look dumb when she has her ability on

Clearly most of the community doesn't like her guns given her pickrate and W/L and you literally cannot make the argument that something shouldn't be in the game because "ubi said it's too OP" as they've clearly made serious balancing changes before. The animation thing wouldn't even be hard and pre-existing animations are already sometimes glitchy.

Siege players are the type of people to call the worst attacking op in the game "OP" when their win rate is shit and whine about potential balancing changes, but complain when OP operators get nerfed...i don't get it

I'm not claiming Nokk should be given all of these (especially not an MP5), or that it'd even be balanced, but i would love to see some more accurate options to Nokk. And i've seen a lot of suggestions Ubi ups her speed that i don't entirely agree with, so here's my alternative option - give her better guns.
I do love Thatcher's AR33 (although it would be called a G53 for her), so that would be my preference.

If Ubisoft doesn't want her picked at all this will solve that problem real quick. Useless gadget and bad gun = bad operator.

She needs a better weapon and an actually useful gadget if Ubisoft wants her pick rate to increase. Until then, nothing will change. Her gadget is probably the least useful gadget in the entire game, and her gun is mediocre.

Special ops members usually have access to whatever weapons they want.
and most of them use boring m4 guns and glocks/berettas.
here is a list of 47 special forces groups in the world with a list of all the firearms they use
M4/AR-15 is just a damn good platform. Not only is it very easy to switch out parts like the barrel, handguard, stock, pistol grip, etc; but there's a ton of high quality aftermarket parts for the gun and you can easily customize it for a wide variety of uses. Also very easy to mount optics due to the picatinny rails being standard, unlike a lot of AKs for instance. 5.56 is also a great low recoiling round that you can carry plenty of ammunition for due to it being relatively light. It's easy to understand why a lot of people use it.

Yes they do, but for most probably only if there is a good reason. Procuring and keeping in good working order a huge number of different weapons isn't easy, and because of the way people are obtained from the regular military of the country they have typically already been trained on some weapons. Having most people using the same weapon also ensures they have similar performance characteristics and ranges. Now the way Rainbow seems to work they would probably be operating on the if you want it we can find it logistical philosophy (at least for the named ops) because of their budget, vastly different training, special job and roles, complexity already present with the gadgets, and pre-existing personal preferences of the ops.
