From:Skaie Hull - NBN News
A three-year-old child from Woodport Early Learning Centre at Erina has tested positive to COVID-19.
The child and their family are in isolation at home and doing well.
The child last attended the centre on March 16.
Authorities have completed their investigations and the source is unknown.
All close contacts, including those from the centre, have been identified and advised to self-isolate.
Central Coast Health says there is no ongoing public health risk related to the early learning centre.
The Woodport Close service is open.

I have so many questions, for example, how can you not track a 3 year old's movements to figure out the point of infection? Is contact tracing redundant at this point?

I’d say with a 3 year old it would be hard because they touch EVERYTHING and constantly touch their face, pick their nose etc.
I went shopping earlier and saw a small child licking the railing of the glass elevator in Toowong Towers. So yeah, you're right.
I definitely understand that. It's a big part of why my kids haven't been out much lately. It's just scary, I guess.
This is the reason I am reluctant to let me 3 year old outside at all. I had to stop her licking the handrail of an escalator the last time we went to a shopping centre
