Ahh sorry. We had a massive influx of plants from my SO's work. We now have over 80 plants in our small apartment. I like it.

Cats fuckin wreck plants though :(

Yup . It took me about 3 days after getting a cat to realize I could no longer have nice things ...

Never surrender. Double sided tape on the furniture, cardboard scratchers to distract them, nail clippers, tall plant stands (btw, chopsticks make great punji sticks in pots), fabric lint brushes (cheaper & more eco than tape rollers), spot carpet cleaners for barf, ah hell who am I fooling.

I'm doing a lot of hydroponic herbs now. Now I've got a dozen mason jars using the "kratky" method lining the windowsills crowding out all my house plants. When the outbreak hit I figured I could eat pothos but basil and rosemary may taste better. And I just had my first hydroponic strawberry bloom yesterday!

How are your succulents doing in containers with no drainage? I’ve had some do well and others slowly rot away.

I have several succulents in containers that don’t drain. They are all fine. I also water them with a squeeze bottle as to not over water them which is usually what kills them. I only water them when their “leaves” don’t feel stiff. I’m no expert, but this is what has kept my succulents alive.

Yeah I watch the leaves too and let that tell me if they need watering! They don't look as inflated or look wrinkly if they need water 👍

You have to be very careful not to overwater them, especially mine since they're not in direct sunlight like ever.

Just a little bit of water on the weekly

I just turned my kitchen counter into an herb garden. We'll see how it gets along with our cats...

I've added some new plants and have some that are totally dead which I need to dispose of / replace but overall we good:

My pilea and wandering dude have both been hating life lately. I have pups doing well so the pilea will live on within its children and wandering dude cuttings which are rooted ready to pot. Life keeps on keeping on.

That's a cozy setup!

I hear that a lot. It must be all the blankets and shag :)

Yamaha C-40? Nice! Your indoor garden is looking good too.

Yeah! I needed a cheap lil classical guitar to practice on and this one totally fits the bill. My speakers are the true Yamaha gem in the apartment though

I’ve got a bunch of seed starts crowding the window seat with the good light. The cats aren’t happy.
