Updates on PPP, EIDL Stimulus and Unemployment - 4/16/2020
Posting this as a daily thread to help our community come together discuss and share resources around financial relief related to the Coronavirus.
Looks like MOST people got their stim checks yesterday. Hearing reports that some people did NOT get $$ for kids or spouses? Also, BECU folks - did you get funds yet?
NEWS: CNN reporting PPP funds have run out. Not sure how this applies to EIDL. This is obviously devastating to the economy.
Feel free to check-in: Did you get your check deposited with the right amount? Any updates on your UI claims? Anyone severely impacted by the PPP news - or did you get funds, and how do you feel about the amount - will it help?
Edit to add a few things some people may have missed:
- If you are impacted by that cares act (ie: you quit/lost job to Corona and worked less than 680 hours), then apply for unemployment again after April 18. There is a very kind employee from ESD answering questions about unemployment in that post.
- Here is the thread for yesterday ( Tuesday )

(Moved to the bottom because not applicable to WA: There is news that some states are running low on unemployment funds. This does NOT include Washington. It only includes six states. Here is the story from CNN.)
