I mean, if you’re ahead it’s not a bad play to try and get one last Large blocker in. Gotta be coordinated though, so if it’s just a randy then it’s a concern.
I agree but I’d say a medium is more useful, or if the enemy has a primeval a small is more useful due to the shielding. If I were in that position I’d go for medium if we were leading but if the enemy had already summoned I’d bank the small blocker
