New customer- charge for new drop?

New Post - Tech Support

I am considering switching to XFinity internet service at my home. However, I'm pretty sure there's no existing XFinity/Comcast drop to my house. Utilities in my neighborhood are all above ground. There's only one line coming from the pole to my house, and I watched the tech from my existing provider install that one. Will I be charged to have a new line run to my house? Also, how long does that work usually take, and will a technician have to come inside? Thanks!
