Too lazy to go out but anyone know what all the noise(music? someone on megaphone?) in Beltline is all about?

Balcony bash I think
I had to Google it. You may be right. I guess they had one last week but I don't recall hearing anything. And apparently they were doing it between 6:30 and 7:30pm. This started about half hour ago, and I swear among all of it there is someone on a harmonica lol.
Most of the music does seem to be coming from the area around Broken City (I am 10 blocks away but can tell it is in that general direction toward Safeway). https://www.facebook.com/events/565991624123181/
They can stop whenever they’d like. Please.
Its not Balcony Bash, I live a block away from Broken City and haven't heard it start up yet. Their instagram also says that they're starting at 6:30.
Yep, their Facebook says 6:30 to 7:30 as well but the music does seem to be coming from that direction, although it seems louder than I would normally expect. I can hear the music from Mewata armory 8 blocks away when bands play in the summer but it sounds muffled. This music/noise tonight sounds distant but seems somewhat clear.
It doesn't sound like it is coming from 17th Avenue.
I just heard them start a minute ago. You must’ve been hearing something different.
Is it the call to prayers for Ramadan? I believe that the city said that they were doing it in the evening.
The noise bylaw exemption is for the call to prayer for 5 minutes a day, and only applies during Ramadan this year because of COVID19.
As time went on I could tell this was music and included harmonica and singing in English.
I think it might have been coming from Mikey's. They're pretty reliable for loud obnoxious music in the summer, and when I was out walking that seemed to be where it was coming from. It was live.
There’s a DJ at broken city lightening up the mood.
This was about an hour before Broken City's Balcony Bash (which is also viewable on Twitch) and lasted about 45 mins. When Broken City started their gig at 6:30pm I couldn't hear a thing from where I'm at. It had to be something else.
That means there’s more fun coming!!!! I’ve been focusing on the positive things that are going to come out of Covid.
Jihadists playing explosive tunes?
The Airing of Grievances is early this year.

Too soon!
I have lost track of the days during the pandemic but I am pretty sure it isn't December quite yet! ;-)
Not a grievance, I was wondering if I should go out and join in whatever it is. I just feel too lazy to get dressed if it's nothing interesting lol. I was hoping someone knew. Although there might be something to Balcony Bash as someone suggested.
