Wtf happened to GTAonline in the past few years?
I got GTA V on the PS3 around the time it was released, and I remember having such a blast with it for like a year or more after it was released. The last thing I remember them releasing was the hydra jet before I stopped playing it. I recently got the game for free on the Epic store, and the online experience feels so much worse. It feels like everything is focused more on making money than having fun with stuff. I've been in multiple lobbies and you rarely see people just cruising around looking for a fight, people trying to have fun fucking around with cars/planes/helicopters, etc. They're all usually in some private match or inside some bunker/home. What happened here?

Wrong platform to play in public lobby man.
I came back to the game last month because of the pandemic, and because I’d transfer my character to pc right before I quit the game, so I decide to start on pc this time. But modders put me in a cage in my first public session and attached some object on me in my next session.
I basically played on pc for 3 days than decide to switch back to ps4. It’s a much better experience IMHO.
That's the idea I'm getting as well.
