I’ve been wanting the StingRay in short scale form for a couple years now, and I was delighted to see it announced at NAMM, until I realized it was $2K USD. I’ve been holding out for an SBMM model, and sure enough they delivered! Not to mention this is my ideal dream bass!

That's a great color! Are the SBMM short scales also passive like the EBMM ones? I kinda want one.

Yep, completely passive!

I already have a short-scale passive bass, and I have a regular-scale SBMM Ray34. I don't need this bass.

But I really, really want this bass.

I could say the same, honestly. I already have a MiKro, and a SBMM Ray4. Definitely wanted this bass as a good mix of the two

I like it. Also bass stands are pretty cheap my dude.

Already have some on their way! Lol

I’m getting to the point where I’m needing stands now. Have too many basses stored under my bed and I only have a single gigbag as a case

I love the color, but as a long time fan of Stingrays, it does feel weird to look at the shortscale version. Just personal taste. Congrats on the new bass

Still can’t believe the ebmm one is $2000 and that they legitimately want that much for less instrument
