Starting july 1st 2025, if you're 90 days or less from ETS, well you're ETSing. No more waiting out til last second for better reenlistment options

*gets reassigned to a shared room with PVT Fuzzy*

*unit won't approve CNA*

Hey all, coming up on re-enlistment here in a few months. I’m looking at potentially reclassing into one of said MOS’s in the title. Recently, I’ve been more interested in the signal/EW side of things that are vaguely understood in my current MOS. From what I understand, these MOSs have a bit of overlap but their own separate missions and nuance. Shoot me y’alls experience and rundown for both, cheers

Hey all! I’m currently in the army as a FA Radar Operator. I’m not quite sure if there’s a similar enough AFSC that would directly correlate, but I found that the Army isn’t quite right for me. A whole lot of extra Army and not more of me actually doing and being a professional at my MOS that I would like. My ETS date isn’t until Dec 2024, so I still have some time that could possibly work in my favor. Not sure of the relevancy of this info, but I’m currently an E-4, and will be at 4y5m TIS when my ETS hits.

As I understand it, it’s nearly next to impossible to transfer into active duty AF, but not so for the guard/reserve side. I suppose my questions are, are there AFSC’s I could directly
