Had my V11 Absolute for around 5 days now and I have absolutely 0 complaints so far. It’s been a huge help around the house, definitely a nice addition. Obviously I can’t speak for it’s longevity but my past experience with Dyson tells me it should have a good lifespan too.

Have had mine for a month now. Vacuuming 2-3 times a week. Use it mainly to suck up fur my dog sheds. Seems to do a good job. Although for carpet I kinda have to either glide really slowly or do an extra pass or 2 to get most of the hairs. The default torque head seems fine for hardwood. I never spill a ton of stuff on the floor so I don’t really miss the soft roller head. The mini motor head is also nice to turn it into a handheld for the couch. Only complaint is the default power setting gets me less than 30 minutes of cleaning on carpet. But I can live with it for a small apartment. Plus vacuuming is fun now so I don’t mind doing an extra round to get all that damn dog hair. Wish I had gotten it sooner than starting with a robot vacuum. I was shocked at how much dust and fur came out my carpet the first use of the v11.

Oh I’m not the only one who did that eh? Also living in a small apt (650sqft) and we too started out with a Eufy robot and v7 handheld. Our v11 pulled a disgusting amount of dirt from everywhere it’s been so far. I agree, wish we got it sooner!

Hey I just did the same thing and returned my eufy robo vac, I have 3 huskies and it would immediately fill up and give up. I spent so much time not only emptying the bin but also cleaning the roller that I quickly decided it was easier to pull out my upright. I hope my v11 (comes tomorrow) does better.

Have been using mine for ~4 months.

Great in a 3 level (read stairs!), ~1200 sq ft, 50/50 carpet and hardwood home + 3 cats.

I still have my DC14 as well that I do the carpets with every month or so. If I was still in a more carpeted, and bigger single level home, I would have stuck with an upright.

Edit: I can do the home on a single charge 9/10 times, but I vacuum like a beast.

I have had mine for about two months now and I live in a 2 story townhouse which is about 1200 sq. ft. , all my floors are carpeted accept for the bathrooms and kitchen...I could easily vacuum the whole place and have about 45- 50% of battery left in Auto Mode...The vacuum cleaner I had before this was a Shark Rotator upright and I was surprised the first time I used the V11 to see how much dirt the Dyson lifted out from my carpets...My only complaint is I wish the docking station had more spots for the attachments...

Just got mine today. It is a bit on the heavier side, but so far its pretty fucking awesome. Definitely worth it. Especially when you get one for like $450.

Did you get it from Best Buy for that price ?

Scoped one out on ebay and snatched it up. I’ve been using it nonstop around the house since I got it lol.

there is a know issue with the V11. it is described as "V11 won't turn off". This happens when there is damage to the what Dyson call the main body. In short the vacuum will not turn off. to make it turn off you have to hit the bottom of the battery towards the main body. Google and you will see some videos of the issue. This only appears to happened to the the earlier generation of v11's. the new v11's have a new main body design. so how do you tell if you have a new or an old V11? the old v11's have a single screw at the back of the hand grip where you palm would rest. the newer v11's do not have this. Also the new v11's have a red tab at the front of the battery. I think this is to allow you to remove the battery with out tools, but I have not really taken a good look at my new one yet so I can not confirm. If you have an older model (with the screw). be very careful when putting it in the wall mount. if you hit the wand end with some force towards the wall you can cause damage that will create the won't turn off issue. to prevent this put something to create a spacer between the wall and the wand end. otherwise the vacuum works very well but not as easy to dump the canister as the old 44's

I received mine just yesterday and the complaints I can think of is the weight and the noise. It is a bit heavy when used as a handheld. And the noise lvl on boost is pretty loud. But the biggest complaint is the price. It’s very expensive for a vacuum. But if you keep it for a long time it could be worth it.

To be fair, boost mode isn’t meant to be used regularly.

Also, look up the price of what Kirby vacuums used to sell for 😜

Yeah I know thats why its not a big complaint. I was trying hard to find anything negative so thats why I pointed that out 😂😂
