Icon flickers when clicked, no internet, no task manager
I never had this happen before. I have a Windows 10 PC I built. I don't know if it matters but I have a 1070 gtx, ryzen 7 3700x ddr4 3200 16gb. Everything has worked fine until the last week. I installed a new monitor 1440p 144hz and set it up dual with my old monitor via Windows 10 a few weeks prior. Now I have been having this weird glitch that mainly seems to happen when I wake the system. I can open firefox or explorer, but it won't connect to anything no matter how much I try (says connected to internet in tray and can confirm since wireless devices work). It won't go to any websites or anything. I can type in the search bar and that is it. Task manager can't be bought up by any means (I've tried key combos, clicking etc.). And I can't click on any of my desktop icons. Now when I try to open a window from my search history or click on start it will open super quick and close (almost a flicker). I will click drop down bar in firefox and it shuts immediately and I click start and it shuts immediately. The most recent item I have installed is the monitor so I'm not sure if that is what it is, but I can't figure it out. The only solution that has worked is I have to do a manual restart or reset since I can't get to start button or task manager. I was able to get lock screen to work with windows button and L, but does the same weird flicker when I click on the restart button there as well. I am going to try keyboard swap in case one of my keys are stuck down or something, but I am using that same keyboard now without issue so Idk. Any ideas?
