A few years back I was working at a financial institution. Phone call comes in and lady says her card was declined. I check and she has an account but I don't see a debit card. I thought it may have dropped off which can happen if you don't activate your card within a certain time frame.
I ask the customer if she ever activated her card when she got it. She states she has. Slightly puzzled I ask if she used it recently and she said she had. I check her account and no debit card activity.
I ask is it a credit card? She says yes. I look and don't see a credit card on her profile. I ask is it in her name? Yes. Is it with our financial institut
I was watching Aliens for the 100th time and a thought came to me during the scene where Ripley mentions the operation being under military jurisdiction and Corporal Hicks was next in command.
Ferro had the same rank and I started thinking that don't pilots generally have higher ranks though? Obviously we know Ferro dies shortly after so it becomes irrelevant. I was just curious if anyone who might be in the military might be able to explain how the command structure works in a situation similar to that.
I never had this happen before. I have a Windows 10 PC I built. I don't know if it matters but I have a 1070 gtx, ryzen 7 3700x ddr4 3200 16gb. Everything has worked fine until the last week. I installed a new monitor 1440p 144hz and set it up dual with my old monitor via Windows 10 a few weeks prior. Now I have been having this weird glitch that mainly seems to happen when I wake the system. I can open firefox or explorer, but it won't connect to anything no matter how much I try (says connected to internet in tray and can confirm since wireless devices work). It won't go to any websites or anything. I can type in the search bar and that is it. Task manager can't be bought up by any means
