Any reviews/feedback on the Ford Ranger?

Looking into getting a truck (Ranger), don’t really need F-150 size but something lighter is good enough.

Anyone with reviews/feedback on their experience so far? How’s the gas consumption?

Looking to get one in the Toronto area.

Thanks.

Drove it as a rental in our Arizona trip. The Sport XLT trim. Liked it a lot. Can’t comment on the reliability. But, drive wise, this is a very good car. Good acceleration, not laggy at all. Drove in the mountains, during heavy snow falls. The car didn’t slip or make any weird turns at all. First row seats are very comfy. Second row might be a bit cramped. But, that is not unusual - this is a relatively small size truck. I would say, give it a test drive and go for it if you like. I got about 24/25 mpg - that was mostly on highway

Nice. I’ve got 2 young kids so hopefully the second row is not too cramped for a car seat and a booster. Currently I have a Santa Fe so I’d imagine it’s not too different from that.

I've owned one for about 6 months now love it winter time with 4x4 I was averaging 13l per 100km but im a bit of a lead footed person, summer time around 9.8l per 100km which I think is perfectly fine I have just a base model it was 34000$ cad but has Bluetooth and a backup camera all i need and no issues so far woth reliability 13000km on it now love it.

That’s not bad at all. I plan on leasing it for 2-3 years, currently working for ford so I think there might be a decent deal that I can hop on. Let’s see, will need to contact couple of dealerships to see what the best options are.
