fuck that, try living in a log cabin in the fall when they (ladybugs) begin crawling through the cracks and end up all over your sheets

I live in a loft that has been renovated. At a glance it looks good but there are a lot of gaps if you look close. Every fall I get invaded by lady bugs and wolf spiders. I feel you bro.

Ladybugs bite too. The only thing they're good for are pest control on your pot plants

Yeah, I did actually get bitten by one a long time ago. It was pretty surprising, but I still like them. :) It was always kind of a treat as a kid in daycare when we would come across a lone ladybug every once in a while, and they would always be found in the same spot.

They can bite!? Does it hurt? I had no idea I used to play with lady bugs all the time and have never been bit.

1
MNicoOP•

It's just like a tiny pinch. Doesn't hurt at all, really... But it was surprising lol

Good. If you had told me it was some sort of painful sting I would have become a bubble person.

At my old house every winter ladybugs which practically nest in my kitchen lights and every now and then fly down to hang out on our plants. They were the perfect pets.

freaked me out the first time a lady bug was crawling on me and opened it's wings and flew away. FREAKED. ME. OUT.

Maybe if you release a bunch of praying mantis-es (proper plural is apparently mantids, but nobody seems to know wtf that means) in the yard every spring, you'll have less infestations. Also, mantids are cool as hell.

...and don't forget roly polies!

Winged cockroaches are females, kill them before they lay their eggs.

Sorry to break this to you:

There is actually a bug that looks JUST like the Ladybug (sometimes more orange - the ones I've seen). In the midwe

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harmonia_axyridisst they call them "Asian beetle"

And these guys fucking bite hard.

You ever encounter a hissing cockroach? Now that shit is creepy.

1

Roaches don't fly, you probably met its cousin, the palmetto bug. Common to Florida. They are larger and like to do aerial attacks when swatted...

Towards my face.

You're wrong. Ladybugs are beetles. So you should actually call them ladybeetles. Also, don't call them starfish, they are sea stars. Stupid people everywhere!
