Gregory Scott (Founder of Kush Audio) has put a bunch of wonderful videos on YouTube explaining his own approaches to mixing. This one is about LCR mixing, and the advantages he gets out of it compared to traditional panning. A nice left-field perspective.

The other videos on his channel seem to be great as well. I've only watched two of them so far, but each one has made me challenge my own approach to mixing in one way or another.

He seems like a cool and knowledgeable dude.

His podcast with Nathan Daniels is worth a listen. It’s pretty goofy a lot of the time, but they do discuss interesting topics and it’s entertaining too.

Really cool idea about doing one side of the mix and then the other as an exercise. Never considered doing that.

I watched one earlier today before I saw your post .... I was very impressed with how much info was conveyed in 10 minutes!

I'm not sure I can trust him, he only seems to own one shirt!

Just stumbled across him recently too, his videos are a hoot! I like how he combines simple exercises with some guidance to provoke learning; it's a much more helpful format for me than standard tutes which just show how something is done (although they totally have their place)

If anyone doesn't know his podcast with Nate Daniels it's well worth a listen. Mostly super simple stuff but so so funny.

Can’t wait to watch this! LCR saved my life...okay, not really, but it did make my mixes a lot better
