Same thing is happening at the USPS but it gets no coverage. We had a coworker go MIA. No word from the supervisors. A family member told someone and spread that he passed cause of covid and USPS didn’t want to tell anyone. We had to find out thru other means.

They don’t check temperatures and don’t even have sanitizing stations. We keep bringing it up but they don’t care.

hell, the mail carrier for my building(with 600 condos in it), still keeps her mask around her neck every single day.

in addition, our front desk concierge at my building never has worn a mask--I complained once but the building never responded to me.

You need to file a report with CAL-OSHA. Go online and find your nearest field office, then call or email. This is unacceptable and illegal.

I’m scared that my name will be exposed for reporting and they will fire me. A bunch of others are worried about speaking out. We have little convos and rant how shit is ran but we’re all scared of losing our jobs. We voice our opinions to our super and they just agree and they’ll “try” to do something about it.

OSHA workplace safety violations are anonymous. Your name will not be shared with your employer unless you choose it to be. Retaliation against an employee for reporting a violation in good faith is illegal. If your supervisor is ignoring your complaints, it’s because they quite frankly don’t give a shit if you live or die. No job is worth your life or health. You might have to burn some people in order to get things done, but so be it, anyone who stands in the way of workplace safety and worker’s rights deserves it.

You’re protected under the “whistle blower” act. A coworker of mine, some time ago actually filed and spoke of something against the law that our company we worked for at the time, did. Our boss tried to fire her, cut her hours, give extra work loads and often forced to work more hours when cutting hours didn’t work. When found out, our boss was fired and jailed, the company fined a hefty fee.

Phillips and former Tesla employee Carlos Gabriel, say social distancing protocols are not being followed. They claim masks are provided but the rules are not enforced and there is no record of sanitation of equipment.

Sounds like there's plenty of blame to go around, from the management to the workers themselves.

If protocols and social distancing are not being met that’s an issue that definitely needs to be addressed. I knew I recognized Carlos Gabriel’s name from somewhere, he’s working with the union to try and unionize Tesla. He was out there with union members with signs. I’m not making a claim towards his veracity, but it is good to know where his interests are aligned

This factory's days are numbered. He's going to move it to Texas.

Do you think they'll abandon the infrastructure, or move it with them?

2

Not the slightest clue. What do you think?

Solyndra abandoned the equipment in place. The rest they destroyed because liability? That's my bet.

I think Musk will do the same. Dealing with California just isn't worth it for him. Both for his pride, and financially.

Tesla and all industries need to be shut down until this pandemic is over

if all industries shut down, the economy is done for. only the wealthy who can ride it out will survive. tons of job loss, forclosures and good neighborhoods start to get blighted by those who lost their jobs knowing they will lose their house.

Why is this news? People that don't stay at home 100% of the time get infected with a pandemic that's infecting everyone in the world? Yeah, and?

Shorts are really hoping to make up their losses by playing off how easily folks are manipulated these days.

We still out here pretending this is Elon`s fault somehow, like those people didnt go to Walmart, Safeway, gas stations, and so on. Oh silly people.

Edit: Assuming those numbers are even real, considering all the fraudulent testing results going around..
