Getting an Index as a gift, but my partner ordered on his account. Any way to have the copy of HL:A transferred to me?
My amazing partner ordered me an Index for my birthday but we are now realizing that Half-Life: Alyx will be added to his library, not mine. However, my PC is the more powerful one and the one that we will use to play Index. Has anyone else been in this situation and found a solution? Is this something Valve support can help with? Any info would be appreciated!

The first steam account the headset / index controller gets connected to is granted a copy of half life alyx, just make sure it's you account and you don't need to worry
