Great news y'all. I got approved for STEM Forever GI bill. Does this include BAH for 9 credit hours during the semester ?

It's the STEM Scholarship Program not the STEM forever GI Bill.

Yes it pays the MHA and Book Stipend and tuition to the school just like the Post 9/11 GI Bill because it's an extension of up to 9 months of your Post 9/11 GI Bill. https://benefits.va.gov/gibill/fgib/stem.asp We have had several posts about this program over the last couple of years.

Your approval notice gives you instructions - your school has to certify your enrollment and every month you have to send an email to a specific email address to get VA to send you the MHA payment.

If these 9 credit hours meet for 16 weeks, you would be 80% of the MHA for that campus location MHA rate.

'Have you looked in the Wiki for an answer? We have a lot of information posted there.

To contact VA Education, 1-888-442-4551, for Voc Rehab VR&E (Veteran Readiness and Employment Program) assistance with appointments or problems with your Case Manager (not for missing payments): 1-202-461-9600.

Payments for all education benefits to include Voc Rehab Veteran Readiness and Employment Programare paid at the end of the month you attend school - Dept of Treasury issues these payments using a 10 business day window - these payments are not locked into a specific day of the month like VA disability/military pay is. For Voc Rehab missing payments, contact your Case Manager or your local Regional Office.

You might want to get the information from the program. You know, so it’s correct and not random internet bullshit.

Looked it up, interesting in applying. I already used up all my Gi bill on my bachelors though and want to get into another field. Are there Stem counselors? More info please.
