Good evening citizens of the UEE. Your FastForecast has quite the story for you tonight. As always, we are dedicated to going anywhere and talking to anyone for the story to provide you the latest news across Stanton and after the groundbreaking revelation of Widow being trafficked at New Babbage, we knew we had only one choice, to go to inside sources at Aberdeen's own high security prison.
Anvil's weather forecasting technology also works brilliantly to scatter just about every form of detection allowing us to come undetected to the prison. While the surface is boiling at over 270 degrees, we decided that blending in with the prisoners wasn't worth losing the environmental protection of our Night Fire armor.
The trip was uneventful as your FastForecast entered tunnels left from the failed terraforming efforts. These tunnels are mostly abandoned and known only to the most secretive smugglers who supply the prisoners of Kessler with their most desired vices and came with the insistence that the map and directions be destroyed after this mission. An agreement we upheld.
The pictures do not lie. Moving through the prison shows it is mostly empty. Where are the prisoners? Where are the guards? We counted less than half a dozen security on duty while we moved through the facility but their sensors did not pick up our stun SMG or our armor. Who disabled the security and what shipment were they expecting?
We were very surprised to find the main gathering area mostly empty as well. The guards on duty appeared distracted or intoxicated, even ignoring us as we stood here obviously armed and recording. With water running low and our Valkyrie's sensors telling us it's protective stealth field's coverage would soon expire, we headed out the way we came with more questions than before.
The trip back to Port Olisar to type up this report was uneventful but landing was not. Unnamed pirates (not privateers) engaged us as soon as we dropped from quantum. Hails were ignored and the Valkyrie took a beating but as Anvil says, nothing takes a beating like an Anvil.
Port Olisar suffered some damage as a Prospector attempted a suicide run at us and was only waived off by us rolling the ship and spinning the attacker into the port itself. We're sure the fine for that is going to be interesting. As you can see, parts of the attacker lays INSIDE Port Olisar's concord.
While FastForecast does not take a side, it seems that is not enough for some who do not want the news reported of this Widow trafficking. We'll continue to report as that is our honor, to bring to you the latest in traffic, weather and information from around Stanton.

I know it'll break role play, but were you actually able to break into prison? I thought there were a few places that would prevent you from traversing the tunnels in reverse - primarily when you do the final drop to officially break out, and the drop that's near the start of the prison break route. There are a couple other spots along the way I can think of as well.
If you are able to actually break into prison and then leave back through the route (though it would allow zero mistakes) - it would make for some interesting options. You'd still technically get the cs1 trespassing for entering - which is a 15 minute sentence, but you wouldn't have actually be brought in there, so it'd be neat to test if nothing else.
Unfortunately we were arrested for blowing up our own ship and wound up in Kessler in full armor.
Dang, that's what I expected though. I've been in full armor numerous times. Funny thing is that almost always means I'll permanently revive in the prison suit once I'm out. But now I'm wondering if there is a route back into it, it would have to be different the more I think about it. And I recall rumors that in the depths of one of the tunnels there was potential for another way out, maybe it's actually a route in.
